Graduate Student and Conference Co-chair
Jestika Gajjar is a Graduate student in Information Systems who has the ability to communicate with and manage business users and technical teams. She is proficient in Agile Scrum Methodology, Incident Management, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, and leadership across multiple cross-functional business organizations. She is also adept in front and back end technologies such as Java, SQL, HTML, CSS6, Alteryx, Tableau, as well as cyber security concepts. Jestika is focused on developing UMSL’s brand as a major national player in preparing IS professionals. She has contributed towards this mission by organizing the IS department’s job fairs, women’s hackathon, and IBM Bluemix for Girls events. She believes that with rapid changes in technology it is increasingly prevalent on UMSL to be a vanguard of that change through industry collaboration so students graduate with relevant knowledge and skills.
